Dietitian
Mariana Davel is a qualified teacher and registered dietician in South Africa. She has been working as a dietician in the food industry for more than 15 years. She has also worked in government and private hospitals in South Africa. Mariana is currently in private practice at Olivedale Hospital in Johannesburg, with a special interest in renal, oncology, lifestyle conditions, GIT and critically ill patients. She is part of a wellness team giving workshops at big corporates and acts as a consulting dietician for food industries.
Mariana invested in an InBody technology that uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). The InBody scanner provides a comprehensive view of your unique body composition balance and looks at the main components that relate to our health status: Body water, lean muscle mass, minerals, body fat, specifically visceral fats. Using the new InBody technology makes tracking easy, and keeps your focus on real data.

Vision and Believes
Her passion for dietetics started very early when she realised that food forms an integral part of each human being – not just to stay alive, but also to enjoy life. Each person reacts differently to food intervention and therefore she aims to treat everyone as a beautifully and wonderfully created human being.
Her dream is that everyone can TASTE nutritious food daily, SEE the positive effect of healthy food in their lives and BELIEVE that positive changes can be made.
